Holding baby Kallie today honestly was a highlight of my whole year that I know I will remember for years to come. She is SO beautiful, sweet-spirited, and completely, 100% loveable!
This has brought tears to my eyes. I was in this place, too, once, and these are tears of overwhelming emotion, most of which are the joy and gratitude that God has brought Kallie here to you safely after your long, long wait and much sorrow. Congratulations and thank you for reminding me today what life was like almost 4 years ago when my long wait ended, too. I hope I never forget these feelings.
Your beautiful Kallie is here, and she is so precious!!! I love the picture...she looks like she has a healthy pair of lung on her. :) She is probably screaming because she wants to be in her Mommy and Daddy's arms instead of in the nursery behind the glass window. I know you will give her tons and tons of hugs and kisses. Enjoy her and your new life.
I'm another one you don't know, but I found your blog about six months ago & have been praying for you & the wee one. We're expecting in July & have a daughter named Callie, so I feel a bit of a "kindred spirit" in some ways.:)
Okay, you made me cry. I've just been waiting for the day to see a different color on your blog and it really just took my breath away. You've been an amazing mommy for some time now, but seeing you with that baby in your arms yesterday made the world seem perfect. I love you and am just over joyed for you and your Babe!
