Babies like routine. I like routine. Therefore, we get along beautifully.
The following nighttime routine helped Kallie flip her days and nights, she's sleeping for 3-4 hours at a time, and life is good.
Sit outside at dusk.
Snuggle.
Put on pajamas.
Snuggle.
Play our nighttime CD courtesy of my sweet St. John's friends.
Snuggle.
Nurse.

Read a book.

You never thought that 4-5 hours would be considered a great night's sleep!
I caught myself the other day saying that Blake lets me sleep in until sometimes 7 am. I umm, really don't normally consider that sleeping in, but hey, with a baby, anything after 5am is sleeping in!
That's a wonderful routine!
I am so glad I heard a smile in your typing. Being a first-time brand new mommy brings lotsa tears and sometimes we wonder where those smiles are...but I TOTALLY heard yours...you're an awesome mommy.
I have been following your journey since sometime before the 100 day countdown and I cannot believe she is here. She is gorgeous and your life (and blogs) have changed soooo drastically. Isn't it a miracle???
Life IS good.
Thank God.
